Venerable Martyr Visarion, a humble monk from Lainici Monastery, stood firm in his faith amidst persecution. Arrested for defending Orthodox traditions against forced conversions, he endured brutal torture, remaining steadfast in prayer and proclaiming Christ. He was finally martyred in chains in 1938 for refusing to renounce his beliefs.
