On June 1, 1941, in the village of Valea Călugărească, #Romania, communist soldiers arrested Father Constantin Sârbu for opposing their ideology and defending the #Orthodox #Faith. Dragged from his church during the Divine Liturgy, he was brutally tortured and imprisoned. Despite immense suffering, he refused to renounce his faith or betray his flock. He was martyred, becoming a symbol of resistance against oppression and a beacon of unwavering devotion to #JesusChrist.

O Saint Priest Martyr Constantin, pray to #God for us, that we may have the strength to defend our faith in times of trial.
