Hieromartyr Evangelicus of Tomis, guide us! In the days of Diocletian, he openly preached Christ in Tomis. Arrested, he refused to sacrifice to idols and endured cruel tortures. He was scourged, lacerated with iron claws, and burned. Yet, his faith remained unshaken. Finally, he was beheaded, becoming a martyr for Christ.
