In the face of communist oppression, Father Dumitru Stăniloae, a brilliant theologian, refused to compromise his faith. He was repeatedly interrogated and suffered harsh treatment. His writings, deeply rooted in the Orthodox tradition, offered hope and spiritual strength to many. Through his suffering, he witnessed to the truth of Christ.
