On the 24th of June, we remember Martyr Iuliu Veteranul. A Roman veteran, Iuliu refused to persecute Christians, declaring his faith openly. Denounced, he was brought before the authorities and ordered to sacrifice to idols. Iuliu remained steadfast, professing his belief in Christ. For his unwavering faith, he was tortured and ultimately beheaded. Holy Martyr Iuliu, intercede for us so we may stand firm in our faith.
