Saints Donat and Venusta, during the reign of Emperor Theodosius, faced persecution for their unwavering faith. Donat, a bishop, and Venusta, a virgin, were arrested for spreading Christianity. Refusing to renounce Christ, they were subjected to brutal tortures. Miraculously, they survived wild beasts and fire unharmed, their faith only strengthening with each trial. Finally, they were beheaded, becoming martyrs for their devotion.
