During the harsh communist regime in Romania, Father Moses Măcinic of Sibiel fearlessly defended his flock. He was repeatedly interrogated and persecuted for his faith, yet he never wavered in his devotion to Christ. He continued to secretly teach the youth about the Orthodox faith, baptizing children and performing other sacred duties, despite the great risk. His steadfastness inspired many and became a beacon of hope in a time of darkness. Pray to God, through the intercession of Saint Moses the Confessor, that he will assist us in spreading the Gospel and in times of adversity.
