On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles in Jerusalem. A sound like a mighty rushing wind filled the house, and tongues as of fire appeared, distributing themselves among them. The Apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them utterance. This miraculous event marked the birth of the Church, empowering the Apostles to preach the Gospel to all nations. Let us worship the #HolySpirit, source of truth and sanctification, and pray for the gift of understanding and courage to proclaim the Good News in our own lives. May we be filled with the Spirit's love and grace, bearing witness to #JesusChrist in all that we do, for the glory of #GodIsGood.
