One winter, a blizzard trapped a young shepherd in the mountains. The boy's parents, desperate, pleaded with Fr. Ghelasie for help. He prayed fervently, then guided a search party through the storm. They found the boy safe, sheltered in a cave, claiming an old monk had led him there. The villagers saw it as a miracle, a testament to Fr. Ghelasie's profound connection with God.
