Saint Isihie, a high-ranking officer, confessed his #Christian #Faith openly when Emperor Maximian began persecuting Christians in 309 AD. Stripped of rank and tortured, Isihie remained steadfast, declaring Christ as the only true God. Despite being drowned in a river, his body miraculously floated to shore, untouched. Christians recovered it and buried it with reverence.
