Saint Pahomie of Gledin, born in 1674, desired from a young age to serve the #Church. He became a monk, and eventually, the Bishop of Roman. During his time, many Romanians were pressured to abandon the Orthodox #Faith. Saint Pahomie strengthened the believers, defended the Orthodox teaching, built churches and ordained priests. He was a true shepherd and defender of his flock. For this, he suffered much persecution. He reposed in the Lord in 1724.

Saint Pahomie, pray that we might, like you, boldly do God's work in building up the #OrthodoxWay.
