Pasicrates and Valentine were soldiers during the reign of Emperor Diocletian, openly confessing their faith in Christ, they refused to offer sacrifices to idols. Despite pleas from loved ones, including Valentine's own mother, they remained steadfast. After imprisonment and torture, they were beheaded for their unwavering devotion.
