Martyr Isihie, serving as a soldier, stood firm in his faith when Emperor Maximian demanded sacrifices to pagan idols. Denouncing the emperor's gods, Isihie professed Christ, enduring imprisonment and torture. Unwavering, he refused to renounce his belief, even as his body was scraped and burned. In his final moments, he remained steadfast in prayer. He was finally beheaded around 310 AD.
