In 1958, #Priest Constantin Sârbu was arrested for his unwavering faith and refusal to collaborate with the communist regime. Subjected to brutal interrogations and torture, he remained steadfast, encouraging fellow prisoners to hold onto their beliefs. Even when faced with threats against his family, he refused to renounce his priestly vows or betray his #church. He was eventually sentenced to hard labor, where he continued to minister to others in secret, offering comfort and spiritual guidance until his death in 1959.
