St. Nicander and Marcian, Roman soldiers, were converted by St. Peter himself and served as his disciples in Rome. They traveled, preaching and converting many. Imprisoned for their faith, they continued to convert guards and prisoners alike through their miracles. After enduring brutal tortures, they were condemned to death. They joyfully met their end, praying for those who would honor their memory.
