On this day, we remember Martyr Iuliu the Veteran, a Roman soldier during Diocletian's reign. Refusing to renounce his faith, he endured brutal tortures. First, he was flogged, then hung upside down, and finally beheaded in Durostorum (present-day Silistra). His steadfast devotion inspires us to stand firm in our beliefs.
