Around 306 AD, #Martyr Lup, servant of Saint Demetrius, witnessed his master's martyrdom in Thessaloniki. Imbued with Demetrius's spirit, Lup took the saint's ring, dipped in Demetrius's blood, and began performing miracles – healing the sick and destroying idols. Arrested for his faith and magical acts, he fearlessly confessed Christ before Emperor Maximian. Tormented brutally, Lup endured with unwavering resolve until, through divine intervention, his bonds broke and idols shattered at his command. Angered, Maximian ordered his execution. Lup was beheaded, joining Demetrius in eternal glory.
