As a young virgin, Mary received the Annunciation from the Archangel Gabriel, who revealed she would conceive a son of the Most High, to be named Jesus. Despite her virginity, she humbly accepted God's will, saying, "Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word." She conceived by the Holy Spirit, bore Jesus in Bethlehem, and raised Him in Nazareth. Mary stood by Jesus throughout His ministry, crucifixion, and witnessed His resurrection. She is revered as the Theotokos, the Mother of God, for bearing the incarnate Son of God.

Let us venerate the Mother of God, intercede for us to Her Son.
