Saint Lup of Stara Zagora, a soldier, fearlessly confessed Christ during Emperor Aurelian's reign. After the martyrdom of St. Theodore Tyro, Lup soaked his garments in Theodore's blood, receiving miraculous power to heal and cast out demons. He destroyed pagan idols, drawing the emperor's wrath. Unmoved by torture, Lup was sentenced to death by beheading.
