Venerable Anthony of Iezeru, a Romanian mountain ascetic, was known for his profound humility and gift of tears. Once, a wealthy man came to the monastery seeking blessings. He offered lavish gifts, but Anthony refused them, saying, "True blessings are not found in earthly treasures." The man, angered, insulted the saint. Anthony, instead of reacting, simply wept. Moved by such meekness, the man repented and became a devoted follower. May Venerable Anthony intercede for us, that we may weep for our sins and find true riches in God's grace.
