St. Calistrat, a shepherd in Vasiova, left his flock seeking deeper communion with God. Guided by a divine dream, he joined Timișeni Monastery. His ascetic life and fervent prayer led to miraculous healings and driving out demons. Despite worldly temptations, he remained steadfast, his purity and devotion shining brightly until his peaceful death.
