Venerable Paisie, born in 1909, sought solitude and God from a young age. Before entering monastic life, he wandered through forests, praying and living a simple life. Once, while in the mountains, he encountered a group of shepherds who mocked his simple clothing and solitary existence. Instead of arguing, he knelt and prayed for them. Later, a fierce storm descended upon the mountain, and the shepherds sought refuge with him, realizing the depth of his faith and humility. Let us pray to #Paisie to intercede for us, that we may be granted the same humility and faith.
