Martyr John the Valah, a Romanian youth, refused to convert to Islam in 17th-century Constantinople. Despite temptations of wealth and threats of torture, he remained steadfast in his #Christian #Faith. He was promised high honors if he converted but declared, "I am a Christian, and I wish to die a Christian." After brutal torture, he was beheaded for his unwavering devotion to #JesusChrist.
