Venerable Anthony of Iezeru, born in the early 17th century, abandoned wealth for monastic life. He settled in a cave near the Iezeru River, Romania, dedicating himself to prayer and asceticism. Skilled in calligraphy and theology, he defended #Orthodox #Faith. He rebuilt the dilapidated Iezeru Monastery, becoming its abbot. Noted for healing and prophecy, he guided many to Christ.
