Epictetus, a priest, and Astion, his disciple, fearlessly preached Christ in Scythia during Emperor Diocletian's reign. Arrested for demolishing idols, they refused to renounce their faith despite torture. Miraculously healed multiple times, they converted many. Finally, they were beheaded, choosing eternal life over earthly existence.
