During his time in communist Romania, #Priest Dumitru Stăniloae was imprisoned for his faith. In solitary confinement, deprived of books and human contact, he translated the "Philokalia" from Greek into Romanian, using scraps of paper and memory. This act became a beacon of spiritual resistance, offering solace to many Romanians during times of oppression. May his example strengthen our resolve in defending the truth.
