On March 21, 1944, Father Liviu Galaction was arrested. Despite brutal torture, he refused to renounce his faith or betray his flock. He was beaten, starved, and subjected to inhumane conditions, yet he remained steadfast, comforting his fellow prisoners and praying for his persecutors. Eventually, he was murdered for his unwavering commitment to Christ.
