Venerable John, a humble monk at Prislop, endured a harsh life. He faced persecution and hardship, yet his devotion to God never wavered. During his final days, he was brutally murdered by robbers, but even in death, his faith shone brightly. A light was seen over his tomb, and many miracles were attributed to his intercession.

Saint John, pray for us, that we may find strength in our trials, remain steadfast in our faith, and be worthy of the Kingdom of Heaven.
