Venerable #Nicodim of #Tismana, a 14th-century monk, established the Tismana Monastery in #Romania, a beacon of #Orthodox faith during turbulent times. Legend says, while seeking a location, a divine voice guided him to a hidden spring. There, with royal support, he built the monastery, a fortress of spirituality. His life was dedicated to prayer, teaching, and defending Orthodoxy.
