On the 27th of May, we honor Martyr Iuliu the Veteran, a soldier who, in 304 AD, openly confessed his Christian faith in front of his military unit, refusing to offer sacrifices to pagan gods. His steadfast belief led to his immediate arrest and torture. Despite the immense suffering, Iuliu remained unwavering, proclaiming Christ as the only true God. He was ultimately beheaded for his faith.

Let us pray to Martyr Iuliu, that through his intercessions, we may be granted the strength to stand firm in our beliefs and to always glorify the name of our Lord.
