On this day, we remember Martyr Isihie, who during the reign of Emperor Maximian, boldly confessed Christ. Dragged before the authorities, he refused to deny his faith even when faced with gruesome tortures. Instead, he declared, "I am a Christian," enduring scourging, laceration, and ultimately, death by the sword.
