During a time of persecution, Saint Sava, a Goth, refused to renounce his #ChristianFaith. He was brought before the Roman governor in Buzău and ordered to offer sacrifice to idols. Sava fearlessly proclaimed his allegiance to Jesus Christ, and the governor, enraged by his defiance, subjected him to brutal tortures, including being beaten, burned, and thrown into a river. Sava, though, remained steadfast. Finally, he was martyred by being drowned in the Buzău River. Saint Sava of Buzău, pray for us, that we may live and die in the true #OrthodoxChristianFaith.
