Around 310 AD, during the reign of Emperor Maximian, Isihie, a high-ranking soldier, openly confessed his Christian faith when ordered to participate in pagan sacrifices. His steadfast refusal led to severe torture: he was hung, scraped, and burned. Unwavering, he was then dragged over sharp stones until his flesh was torn. Miraculously, he survived these tortures until Maximian ordered his beheading.

Let us beseech #Martyr Isihie to intercede for us, that we may remain steadfast in our #Faith and glorify #God through our actions. May his courage inspire us to stand firm in the face of adversity. #OrthodoxChristian #Prayer
