Saint Priest Martyr Alexandru of Basarabia, steadfast in faith, faced imprisonment and torture for refusing to renounce Christianity under Soviet occupation. Despite immense pressure, he continued to serve his flock in secret, offering solace and sacraments. Eventually, he was condemned to death for his unwavering devotion. He was shot in a forest near Tiraspol, becoming a martyr for the #Orthodox faith.
