In a small village, Joseph felt called to serve God. Despite his family's wishes for him to marry, he chose monastic life at Partoş. Known for his humility and wisdom, he later became the Metropolitan of Timişoara. During a drought, he led the faithful in fervent prayer, and a life-giving rain quenched the parched land. He helped reconcile divided communities and became a beacon of unity and compassion.
