Born in Moldavia, he became a monk on Mount Athos. Driven by zeal, he sought solitude and deeper communion with God, becoming known for his ascetic life and spiritual guidance. He later founded the Romanian skete of Prodromos, attracting many followers. He cared for the poor, healed the sick, and shared God's love with all.
