Hieromartyr Evangelicus of Tomis, disciple of St. Ermilos, fearlessly preached Christ in Scythia during persecutions. Arrested for his faith, he refused to sacrifice to idols, declaring Christ as the only true God. He endured severe tortures, yet his spirit remained unbroken. After prolonged suffering, he was beheaded, becoming a martyr for the truth.
