On this day, we remember #Martyr Iuliu Veteranul, a Romanian soldier during World War II. Captured by the Soviets, he was pressured to renounce his #OrthodoxChristian #Faith. Iuliu refused, enduring torture and imprisonment. Despite suffering, he remained steadfast, praying and encouraging fellow prisoners. His captors, enraged by his unyielding faith, subjected him to brutal treatment until he died for Christ.
