Venerable #Sophian of Antim, a spiritual father of 20th-century Romania, endured much suffering under the communist regime. Once, while imprisoned, he was brutally beaten and left for dead. Miraculously, he survived, his faith unshaken. He continued to offer guidance and solace to those who sought him, becoming a beacon of hope in dark times.
