Venerable Gregory left his wealthy family to follow Christ. He traveled, preaching against heresy and comforting the afflicted. Once, while praying, pirates attacked his ship. Gregory prayed fervently, and a storm arose, scattering the pirates. He continued his journey, performing miracles and healing the sick until his death in Constantinople.

Let us pray to #GregoryTheDecapolit, that we too may find the courage to forsake worldly comforts for a life dedicated to God. May his example inspire us to stand firm in our #Faith and to trust in the power of #Prayer.
