Venerable Dometie, a humble monk of Râmeț Monastery, possessed a heart overflowing with compassion. He devoted himself to serving the poor and sick, tirelessly tending to their needs. One harsh winter, when famine gripped the land, Dometie discovered the monastery's granary nearly empty. Instead of despairing, he fervently prayed for guidance. The next morning, the granary was miraculously filled with wheat. Dometie, with tears of gratitude, distributed the grain to the starving villagers, saving them from certain death.
