Born in Nazareth, Mary was betrothed to Joseph, a carpenter. Before they lived together, an angel appeared to her, announcing she would conceive a son through the Holy Spirit, to be named Jesus, who would be the Messiah. Obedient to God's will, she conceived and gave birth to Jesus in Bethlehem. She raised him in Nazareth, witnessing his ministry, death, and resurrection. Her unwavering faith and acceptance of God's plan make her an example for all believers.
