Mary, chosen by God, conceived Jesus through the Holy Spirit, remaining a virgin. She bore Christ, nurtured him, and witnessed his ministry, crucifixion, and resurrection. At the foot of the cross, she became the mother of all believers. Assumed into heaven, she intercedes for us.
