During the reign of Emperor Diocletian, Saint Iuliu, a veteran soldier, refused to renounce his Christian faith. He was subjected to brutal tortures, including being stretched on the rack and having his body lacerated. Despite the immense pain, he remained steadfast, praising God. His unwavering faith and courage inspired many. Finally, he was beheaded for his beliefs. We pray, Saint Iuliu, that through your intercessions, the fire of faith may burn brightly in our hearts, strengthening us to stand firm in the face of adversity and do God's work. Amen.
