In the year 372, #Martyr Sava, a Goth, lived in a village under the rule of the Arian Goths, who persecuted #Christians. When authorities demanded that villagers eat pagan sacrificial meat to prove their loyalty, Sava refused, declaring his unwavering faith in #Christ. Despite threats and torture, Sava remained steadfast, confessing, "There is only one #Lord, and that is Christ; other than Him, I know no other." He was drowned in the Musæus River, becoming a beacon of courage.

Let us pray to Martyr Sava to inspire unwavering faith in our hearts and to intercede for us to stand firm in truth amidst adversity. #OrthodoxSaint #ChristianMartyr
