In his youth, Arsenie (the future Cleopa) faced conscription. During his military service, a superior unjustly accused him of insubordination and ordered him confined to a dark cell with minimal rations. Facing despair, Arsenie fervently prayed to the Mother of God. Suddenly, a radiant light filled the cell, and the chains fell from his hands. An angelic voice told him he was freed by the intercession of the Theotokos. He immediately left the cell, went to his commander, and confessed his miraculous liberation. The commander, astonished, investigated and found the cell still locked and the chains broken. This event led many soldiers to #Faith and repentance.
Let us pray to #VenerableCleopa to intercede for us, that we may be delivered from despair and find solace in the #MotherOfGod. May his prayers guide us on the #OrthodoxWay. #Saints
