In the 3rd century, during Emperor Diocletian's reign, Donat, a lector, and Venust, suffered for their unwavering faith. Arrested for their Christian beliefs, they refused to renounce Christ, enduring brutal tortures. They were stretched on the rack, scourged, and their bodies lacerated. Unshaken, they were eventually beheaded in North Africa. Their steadfastness inspired many to embrace Christianity, sealing their place as revered martyrs.

Let us pray to #Martyrs Donat and Venust, intercede for us, that we may remain strong in faith amidst trials.
