Nicandru and Marcian, Roman soldiers, were martyred for their Christian faith during the reign of Emperor Diocletian. They refused to renounce Christ and were subjected to brutal tortures. Ultimately, they were beheaded near the Danube River. Their unwavering faith and courage in the face of death serve as an inspiration to all believers.
