In the year 372, #Saint Sava, a Goth, openly confessed his Christian faith in Buzău, Romania, defying the Arian persecutors. When questioned about his wealth, he declared Christ as his only treasure. Despite threats, he refused to renounce his faith. Soldiers led him to the Musaios River, promising freedom if he turned back. Sava remained steadfast, and was drowned in the river, becoming a martyr for his unwavering devotion to Christ.
Let us pray to Sava, intercessor before God, that we may have strength to uphold our beliefs in times of adversity.
