In the Roman province of Scythia, now modern Romania, Epictetus, a priest, and Astion, his disciple, spread the Gospel with zeal. Arrested for their faith, they refused to renounce Christ before the governor. Miracles occurred: idols crumbled, and those who persecuted them were divinely punished. Despite torture, their resolve remained unbroken. They were ultimately beheaded for their unwavering faith.
